Prolinol.  I wonder why the energy of conformation  4 is so high?  Ah, I have just spotted why thanks to  Jmol.  Take a close look and see if you too can spot why its so strange! Did you try any other method  (PM6 for example) on this problem?  Good explanations, ie with  Mg its attraction, with  aniline its repulsions! 

Taxol: Excellent set of results.  Many students do not investigate both chair and twist boat, just the one.  Nice concise discussion

Carbene: Good orbitals, nice explanations. I agree, R=BRH2 is complex, and the orbital picture does not always end up giving simple pictures.
