Excellent discussion covering all the points and good use of the functionalities in Gaussian.

A really good project overall. An excellent comparison of DFT and MP2 along with the addition of polarisation into a basis set. A good interpretation of your results, however some misconceptions are observed. Good discussion of the Si-hybridisation however the stabilisation of the Si-O bond is not discussed in enough detail. You could have used the NBO analysis to greater effect.
