NB: This only works when inside College - you can't do this from home!!!
- From the menu panel at the top of your screen, choose Places -> Connect to Server
- Change the dialog box to match these values:
Service Type: Windows Share
Server: icnfs-ch.cc.ic.ac.uk
Share: <your college login>
Folder: <leave blank>
User Name: <your college login>
Domain Name: IC
Name to use: Linux_Home
- Press the Connect button
- A dialog window will popup asking for your password, which you can choose to save (tick Save password in keyring).
- You should now have a file manager window showing your Linux Home and an icon on your desktop called Linux Home
