The Climate KIC Education Wiki

The goal of this WiKi is to allow summer school 2010 lecturers to create one coherent programme and for students and lecturers to interact.

Contextual Learning Journey 2010 Full Programme

The programme shows a day by day overview and links to the session descriptions. Lecturers are encouraged to update their session descriptions and add teaching material such as assignments and presentations so others can see what is being done. The goal is to minimise overlap between sessions and ensure that the most important topics are covered.

Note that all announcements have been moved to the announcements page. Please check the announcements page daily for latest information, it will be update before 10pm so students can check the evening before or the morning before they leave. Here is the new section of resources and useful links

Programme structure

The Contextual Learning Journey is structured around three major components:

  1. The Research and Innovation themes
    1. Assessing Climate Change and managing its drivers
    2. Transitioning to resilient, low-carbon cities
    3. Adaptive Water Management
    4. Zero Carbon Production Systems
  2. Entrepreneurship Education
  3. Coached Business Planning

Each R&I theme as well as the Entrepreneurship Education has their own working group who is responsible for a series of sessions where content overlap and gaps are minimised.
