IT support

  • The recommended way of obtaining most kinds of IT support in the department is via the Service Desk on 49000 or e-mail service.desk@ic.ac.uk ('Service Desk' in the address book).
  • Although you are welcome to seek out Tim or Nick, many topics are dealt with by others and the service desk should point you in the right direction if they cannot help directly.
  • For purchase orders only you can email po-help@ic.ac.uk ('Purchase Order Enquiries' in the address book) or ring 48593/4. All other ICIS problems should go to the Service Desk
  • To report a telephone fault email telecom-faults@ic.ac.uk ('Telecom Faults' in the address book) or dial 0 for the operator.
  • Most college web sites are not maintained by ICT personnel. You can always report broken or inaccurate pages to the Service Desk as above, but if you do know the maintainer it might be easier to speak to them directly.
